Step 1 - Apply for SENTRI
You must first apply for the SENTRI program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $122.25 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.
Note: SENTRI (Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection) is specifically designed for travelers who frequently cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
Start Your SENTRI ApplicationStep 2 - Wait for conditional approval
After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the SENTRI program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.
The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.
Step 3 - Schedule Your SENTRI interview
Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for SENTRI. The next step is to schedule your interview at San Luis Enrollment Center (YUM).

Step 4 - Skip the SENTRI Interview wait time
You might notice that San Luis Enrollment Center (YUM) is showing "No appointments available for this location", or the next appointment available is months out.
So what can you do?
SENTRI interview appointments are constantly cancelled, rescheduled, and added. This means that if you can monitor the interview slots, you can find an appointment that fits your schedule.

Directions: **LATE ARRIVALS FOR APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. NO SE ACEPTARAN LLEGADAS TARDIAS A LAS CITAS.** From Yuma take Highway 95 South to County 15th Street. On County 15th, make a left turn; then an immediate right to S. Avenue B. Proceed for about 8 miles to the four-way stop. Turn right on AZ-195 and proceed for 3 miles to the signal light. Make a left turn on South Avenue E and drive approximately 2 miles until you arrive at the Commercial Port of Entry. Have your appointment letter ready to provide to the Security Guard at the booth who will direct you where to park. The Enrollment Center can be accessed through the Administrative north side front door from 8am-4pm. NOTE: Please be punctual and do not arrive earlier then 30 minutes of your appointment time.
Notes: **For Global Entry bring your valid Passport Book.** **Only persons with an appointment will be allowed into the building. Check in at the window with the receptionist, prior to entering the office*** MUST bring original birth-certificate, marriage certificate and all original documentation listed on your conditional approval letter to the appointment to include US Passport book, Resident Alien Card, foreign passport and Visa required for entry, along with proof of economic solvency (pay stubs, bank deposits), proof of residency (mortgage statement, rental agreement, and utility bills), college enrollment records, vehicle registration and insurance, etc. HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS READY ON HAND, NOT DOING SO CAN CAUSE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT TO BE RESCHEDULED.
